Bailey & Company Advises Medcor on its acquisition by APM

NASHVILLE, TN (September 30, 2026): Bailey & Company announced today that it served as the exclusive financial advisor to Medcor, a leading provider of onsite and mobile occupational health services across the United States and Canada, on its agreement to be acquired by APM Group, subject to Federal Trade Commission approval. Medcor and APM, an international health and human services organization operating in 11 countries, will work together to expand access for employers and their employees to high-quality, independent, advocacy-based occupational health care across North America. APM Group is a portfolio company of Madison Dearborn Partners.
Since 1984, Medcor has built its reputation around a single idea: occupational health advocacy with no payer or provider conflicts of interest. Every Medcor advocate, whether onsite, mobile or on the phone, works for the patient first, not for an insurer or an employer’s bottom line. That model has made Medcor one of the largest occupational health providers in North America, and it is the foundation this next chapter is building on.
For Medcor’s clients and advocates, day-to-day operations continue unchanged. Medcor and APM will look for opportunities to strengthen and broaden the already high-quality services they offer customers, with additional details to follow.
“When we started Medcor in 1984, we grew it one client, one clinic, one advocate at a time,” said Philip Seeger, co-founder and CEO of Medcor. “Joining the APM family gives us the resources to take that same advocacy model and build something bigger for the workers and employers who depend on us.”
“Occupational health is an important market for us, and Medcor has built one of the most respected occupational health operations in North America, with a model built on clinical quality, advocacy and independence,” said David Sagar, CEO of APM in the United States. “This partnership gives us the reach and the clinical depth to serve even more employers across North America.”
